About Us

Founded in 1972, Wesleyan Academe at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church has been guiding young minds through Christ-centered education for over 50 years.

Originally established in the 1970s as Plymouth Park Methodist Preschool and Kindergarten, the school was renamed Wesleyan Academe in 1993. At that time, a new education wing was constructed to accommodate a growing student body.

Today, we continue to serve Irving and the surrounding Metroplex with expanded classrooms and programs designed to meet the needs of our community.

Our Programs

We offer classes for children ages 2 years through Third Grade, providing a strong academic and spiritual foundation during these formative years.

Our Heritage

Wesleyan Academe is named after John Wesley, one of the most beloved leaders of the early Methodist Church. His dedication to Christian education inspired a passion for learning, character development, and moral integrity - values that remain central to our mission today.
